Georgette Alexander-Morrison
Georgette Alexander-Morrison leads X-energy’s Capture & Proposals. She is responsible for the formulation and implementation of X-energy’s capture and early projects (Concept and FEL-0) via contracts, grants, or agreements to ensure a rigorous pipeline of opportunities both Government and Commercial.
Georgette has over 45 years’ experience in civil and military space, private industry, space and defense hardware, NASA services, and nuclear reactor development projects. Early career focused on materials science and metallurgy including 3 years at Fairchild Space and 5 years with DOE development projects at Y-12 Facility and ORNL (Oak Ridge TN). She has over 37 years’ of business development, capture, proposal management, project management, and operational execution experience primarily in aerospace systems and engineering services, but now also in nuclear systems including Government and Commercial pursuits. Georgette joined X-energy in 2021.
She holds a BS with High Honors in Material Sciences and Engineering (MSE) from the University of Florida (Gainesville, FL), and a MS in Industrial Engineering (Engineering Management) from the University of Tennessee (Knoxville, TN). Her credentials also include continuing education in proposal management, capture management, business development, and government contracting. Georgette holds a DoD Secret Clearance.
She is a member of American Institute of Aeronautics and Astronautics (AIAA), American Astronautical Society (AAS), American Nuclear Society (ANS), Nuclear Energy Institute (NEI), Women in Aerospace (WIA), and Women in Nuclear (WIN). Honorary: Tau Beta Pi, Alpha Sigma Mu, Omicron Delta Kappa.
