As Chief Information Officer at X-energy, Matt Welsh is responsible for managing enterprise-wide technology and defining and managing the company’s technology roadmap to support of business objectives and priorities.

Prior to X-energy, Welsh spent 11 years at Peraton where he most recently held the positions of Vice President of Government Infrastructure Services and Program Manager for DHS Data Center and Cloud Optimization. Prior to Peraton, he held positions at Booz Allen Hamilton, Electronic Data Systems, Northrop Grumman, US Airways, and Anderson & Associates.

Welsh is a graduate of the Virginia Polytechnic Institute & State University and holds a Master’s of Science in Information Systems from George Washington University. He also earned an Innovation and Entrepreneurship Certificate from Stanford University.
