Sited at the source
The Xe-100’s intrinsic safety profile allows our reactors to be sited directly at or adjacent to industrial facilities. With a compact site footprint, and an emergency planning zone of just 400 meters, Xe-100 plants can provide clean heat and steam directly at the point of consumption.
Fueling modern life
Whether it’s cement, steel or petrochemicals, the materials that make modern life possible depend on heavy industry. The Xe-100 is designed to deliver steam at 565°C with 95%+ availability over a 60-year operating life with clean, high-quality process heat and steam to make consumer products used every day in homes, schools, offices, and hospitals.
Co-Generation
The Xe-100 delivers both electricity and high-temperature process heat from a single integrated system, with each reactor able to be used for either 80 MWe of electric power, or 200 MWt of high-temperature steam. This dual-output capability positions the Xe-100 as a complete energy solution for industrial end-users across both electric and industrial energy needs.
Price-Stable Energy
Nuclear fuel’s extraordinary energy density helps insulate industrial end-users from unexpected shifts in global commodity markets.
