Industrial-Grade Power
X-energy and Dow are advancing a four-unit Xe-100 plant at Dow’s UCC Seadrift Operations manufacturing site in Texas under the U.S. Department of Energy’s Advanced Reactor Demonstration Program. The deployment would make Seadrift the first industrial facility in North America powered by nuclear energy.
5 GW+ of New U.S. Nuclear by 2039
X-energy and Amazon are partnering to deploy at least 5 GW of new nuclear by 2039, moving beyond traditional power purchase agreements to accelerate advanced nuclear commercialization through fleet-scale deployment across the United States.
