Edward "Ted" Sonnenschein is the Vice Chairman at IBX, LLC, an innovation and investment firm and family office building companies that explore new frontiers in space, technology and energy, where he provides leadership in governance and major transactions as well as strategic guidance on financings, mergers and acquisitions and new initiatives. He also serves as a director of Quantum Space and leads the legal function at IBX as its Chief Legal Officer.

Mr. Sonnenschein transitioned to IBX after four decades as a leader at the global law firm of Latham & Watkins LLP, serving as Global Chair of Corporate Department, Chair of Business Development Committee, Chair of Investment Committee, Member of Executive Committee and, most recently, Founding Chair of Strategic Initiatives Committee, overseeing the firm's strategic initiatives. In his practice, Mr. Sonnenschein gained widespread recognition as a highly respected deal maker, advising numerous public and private companies, private equity firms, sovereign wealth funds and family offices on hundreds of cutting-edge matters in M&A, private equity, venture capital, corporate governance, IPOs, other debt and equity offerings, securities regulation and leveraged finance.
