Dragan Popovic is an accomplished nuclear industry executive with extensive experience in small modular reactor development and nuclear operations. As Executive Vice President and Chief of Global Operations at X-energy, he leverages over two decades of leadership to accelerate the company's commercialization and growth across its expanding global project portfolio. Dragan will play a pivotal role in executing the company's deployment roadmap for its advanced nuclear technology.

Before joining X-energy, Dragan served as Senior Vice President of SMR Project Execution at Ontario Power Generation, where he led the Darlington New Nuclear Project through critical milestones including site preparation, licensing, construction approval, and final investment decisions. His prior leadership positions at OPG included Director of Work Management at Pickering Nuclear Station and Project Director leading major infrastructure builds, system improvements, and refurbishment initiatives. His comprehensive experience spans the entire nuclear power lifecycle, including financing, licensing, construction, operations, maintenance, and decommissioning of nuclear facilities
